Do you live to work or work to live?  This is my latest lifestyle design.  I focus on businesses that I enjoy, so I can have fun working, while funding my pleasures.  I hope to post relevant topics for people that are interested in some or all of my passions.

Fitness & Martial Arts

I grew up as a fan of Bruce Lee.  At the age of 5, my father signed me up for Karate at the same school where my older cousins trained.  I also trained in Tae Kwon Do, while dabbling in Filipino Stick Fighting and Muay Thai, until the age of 17.  I’ve taken a long hiatus.  My body doesn’t really work as well as it use to be.  I have regrets of not continuing, but in 2010 I enrolled at Brazilian Top Team in Long Beach and in August of 2011, I began training at Cobra Kai Jiu-Jitsu in Las Vegas, where I am currently training in Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.

As for fitness, I believe the martial arts is what’s keeping me most in shape.  But as I ended my twenties and have entered my thirties, I’ve become somewhat more interested in my long-term health.  I have incorporated exercising, healthy eating, and quitting smoking, among other health and fitness activities.

I have loved music also since the age of 5.  Michael Jackson was probably my first favorite artist, but Hip-Hop became my foundation short after.  Run DMC’s “You Be Illin” became the first lyrics I memorized, compliments of my eldest sister.  I, then, dabbled in graffiti art (art in general), MCing, Breakdancing, and eventually DJing.  I started DJing in 1997 and have since then grown and matured in my musical appetite.  These days I listen to just about everything to pick and choose music that invokes the particular emotional response needed for any particular moment.

Family & Friends

My family and friends are the reason why I’m here.  As Bruce Lee has stated, “Real living is living for others.”  I will occasionally post memorable stories and experiences I’ve had with some of them.

Travel (Been There)

Though I am a novice traveler, I certainly do enjoy it.  I have been to: many states in the USA, Mexico, the Bahamas, Spain, England, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, and (can’t forget my homeland) the Philippines.  I hope to see a lot more of this amazing world.  Slowly but surely, I plan to add to the ‘Been There’ list.

Various Hobbies (Done That)

While I focus on the aforementioned, I tend to try a lot of things out. Here is a list of things I’ve done: hiking, bungee jumping, skydiving, basketball, bowling (my family has an annual tournament), snowboarding, wakeboarding, and many other things I can’t remember at the moment.  I hoping to add to the ‘Done That’ section.
